Emma Ramage Obituary

In Loving Memory
Emma Deanna Ramage
December 15, 2002 - February 16, 2025

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we remember Emma, whose light shone brightly from the moment she was born. From the age of three, she found joy in dance, especially ballet, moving through life with grace and passion. Her love for music was boundless, and nothing made her happier than singing along at concerts, especially to the songs of Ariana Grande.

An artist in every sense, she found beauty in the world around her-through music, dance, and the art of makeup, where her talent and creativity flourished. Her love for sunsets was a reflection of her own spirit-radiant, warm, and unforgettable.

Though she battled chronic illness, it never defined her. Instead, she defined herself through love, resilience, and the way she cherished her family and friends. To her, family was everything, and her friendships were deeply valued. The bond she shared with her mom was one of a kind-best friends, soulmates, and inseparable in this life and the next.

She adored her beloved cat, Mac, who was always by her side, offering comfort and companionship. Her presence was a gift, and her love will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew her.

She leaves behind a family - mom Jana; stepfather John; stepsister Sophia; stepbrother James; grandma Judy; auntie Leanne; auntie Tracey; cousins Brad, Janay, Ryan, Jaylin and Samantha; father; brother Nicholas; sister Kate; and extended family who adored her, friends who treasured her, and a world made more beautiful because she was in it.

Let Emma's life be a reminder that not all struggles are visible-be kind, be compassionate, and always look beyond what the eye can see.

Thank you to all of the Doctors and Nurses and all staff at BC Children's Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, please donate to BCCH/diabetes research (Breakthrough T1D) and Liver Canada.

Emma, what a lovely name for a lovely girl. The world has lost a very bright star and left a deep hole in our hearts. We were fortunate to have enjoyed her quick wit and special charm. I know i will never make lemon tarts again without thinking of her beautiful smile. Rest in peace sweet girl, you brightened our world.

In Loving Memory of Emma
22 years was far too short a time for a heart as big as Emma´s. She had a way of making moments shine-whether it was a simple day at the PNE, full of laughter and joy, or standing up at Monique´s wedding and reminding us all that "You don´t spell love, you feel it."

Emma lived with a warmth that touched everyone around her. I will forever cherish the memories we shared-our wedding where she, her dad, Angus, and Nicole joined us on the dance floor, singing along to Katy Perry, lost in the music and the moment. If only we had been given more time.

But in the time we did have, Emma gave us love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. And though she is gone, the love she left behind will never fade.

Rest easy, sweet Emma. You are deeply missed and forever loved.
