He fought a hard battle and never complained, or lost his compassion for others and maintained his sense of humour to the end. . Gregg was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Lynn, his younger and much loved brother Lawrence, his chosen Mom & Dad, Bill & Eileen Coulson, and father-in-law Sol Block. . Gregg is survived by his loving, dedicated and devoted wife Gwen and his daughters Sara & Hailey who were the light of his life and whom he was so proud of. He is also survived by his sister Erika Podewilis (Harty), his chosen family Brent (Yolanda) Coulson, Charlotte (Dean) Johnson, his loving mother-in-law Maxine Block, sister's in-law Loma, Bev, Bobbi & Jacqueline and their families, numerous nieces & nephews and countless friends around the world. Gregg left the RCMP to attend university in the USA where he obtained his degree in Structural Engineering. His career took him all over the USA, Canada, Africa and Europe. If you have visited one of the Disney parks you may have enjoyed one of the rides that Gregg had helped design. He has left his mark in Las Vegas on numerous large projects as well. He drilled wells in Africa for the less fortunate and worked on the Kandahar base in Afghanistan. . Gregg made many friendships along the way and always entertained everyone with his incredible stories. Anyone who knew him always asked him when he was going to write a book of his adventures to which he replied, he just was not finished yet. Gregg lived his life to the fullest at a fast pace and never left any rock unturned. We all lived vicariously through him. His smile would light up a room and he was a happy, kind, generous, sincere person and if you needed a shoulder he would always be there. He was passionate about life, had a fearless love for travel and adventure and he has been an inspiration to all of us. . Gregg's legacy will continue as his body has been donated to medical science research and if this will help one person then Gregg would be extremely happy. . The family wishes to thank all of Gregg's doctors, nurses and support staff at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester), Southern Hills Hospital and Infinity Hospice in Las Vegas, all of whom treated him with compassion, dignity and provided wonderful care and did their best for him. We will never forget you. . Gregg will be interned with Mom & Dad Coulson in New Westminster, BC at a later date. .
