It was a privilege calling Helen my friend. Kind, loving, generous with a great sense of humour
and so very courageous.
Our thoughts are with Rod, Laura, Alistair and their
families.

Helen was such a caring and giving woman. She was always so kind hearted and treated me like a daughter. I will miss her every day.

John and I will miss Helen very much as her hospitality was legion and she was much missed when she and Rod and the children left St. John's. We've seen her a number of times when we went through Vancouver and her hospitality was incredible. Always cheery, a wonderful hostess, a busy mother and grandmother, and despite health problems, an energetic and marvellous friend to everyone. I can't imagine how much she will be missed, but I know that few people have made such an imprint in our lives. Love to Rod, Alistair, Laura and the entire famiy from Judy and John Gibson

Helen was such a "one of a kind" special lady to everyone that knew her. Her many acts of kindness will always be remembered and her wonderful "giggle". Helen is away from us now, but she will never be forgotten. The pleasure of spending so many years together provides many great memories. Rest in peace my dear friend.
