Helena Virs Obituary

Helena Virs, passed peacefully at Lions Gate Hospital on Nov. 11 2018. Helen is survived by her five children. Four sons, Erik, Allan, Rick, Tom and daughter Rita. She was happy to have and know Six grand children. Cory, Nicholas and Sheena from Erik and Gwen. Olivia, Spencer and Mercedes from tom and Angela. Helena also had Five great-grand-children, She was especially proud of that. She knew and played with all of them. Gabriel, Kaleel, Rylan and Ailah from Nicholas and Chaka. Noah, from Cory and Nalalie. Helen's caring for others, her happiness around everyone and her determined independence will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace sweet Lady!!

I was saddened to hear of your Mom's passing, she was a lovely lady. I have many good memories of her from my time working at Troll's and my years in Horseshoe Bay. When I worked at the deli downstairs from her place she would bring me blueberry pancakes with hot blueberry syrup. Nobody made better pancakes than Helen!
I am so sorry for your loss and I thank you all for sharing her with us.
She was special.
