Inger Margrethe BROCK

BROCK, Inger Margrethe August 12, 1919 - August 30, 2013 . Inger died peacefully at West Shore Laylum Care Centre on August 30. Inger is predeceased by her parents,husband Andy and her sister Bodil Sorensen. She is survived by a sister Else Jacobsen.her niece Kirsten (Ulrich) Ehrbar in Copenhagen as well as a number of great nieces and nephews in Denmark and Switzerland. Inger came to Canada as a graduate nurse in 1949 and worked in nursing at the Calgary General Hospital. Following graduation from The University of Alberta, Inger began a long career in Public Health Nursing at Prince Rupert, Nanimo and Surrey B.C. Inger was an avid reader,never stopped learning and enjoyed discussion on almost any subject. She will be missed by her many life long friends. By Inger's request there will not be a service. Interment of ashes will be in the family grave plot, Copenhagen, Denmark. Special thanks to the Care Staff of West Shore Laylum for providing such kind care and personal attention to Inger for the past four years.
