Kim was my children´s preschool teacher at Delta Christian school in about 2009. I was so impressed with her- especially how she honoured each child and their Art pieces, which she took the time to label and `write´ out what each child was trying to display and express. I was so grateful for her sensibilities and intelligent spirit in the area of Early Childhood- in which I work myself in a medical setting (BC Children´s). I still have some of my girls pieces of art that `Miss Kim´ inspired and helped the children interpret. The world through young children´s eyes is a beautiful thing and we would all be better to follow the wisdoms that Kim knew in her heart and inspires us with. My condolences to all Kim´s family and friends.

Kim and I were members of the High School gymnastics team and were pals until graduation. I remember when she cut her long hair, which was relatively straight, only to discover that she ended up with a gorgeous mane of curls. I lost touch with Kim after high school but have often wondered where she ended up. This obituary outlines a life well lived. She was a lovely young woman as well. She will be missed by those who remember her from days gone by in Fort Erie.
