Lorraine WENGER Obituary

WENGER, Lorraine Mae
November 22, 1930 - August 25, 2023

Lorraine passed away August 25, 2023. A beloved mother and great-great grandmother

Lorraine was born in British Columbia and spent her early years in the East Kootenays of B.C. where she lived and worked in the family owned logging camp near Kimberly. She started a family there with daughter Jackie and sons Gary, Rick and Chris.

The family later moved to the Lower Mainland where she worked in hotel and hospitality.

Her later years were fulfilled by time spent with her grandchildren Daniel, David, Shawne, Jennifer, and recently passed Jesse and their families.

Thanks to her dear friends Charlene, Elaine and Sue

Lorraine had First Nations ties and was the proud daughter of hereditary Chief Maxime George of Nadleh.

She will be greatly missed by all

Thank you Rick for letting me know about the passing of my long time friend Lorraine.

I met her in the late 70s when we worked together in a Vancouver hotel called, "The Pacific Palisades."

The two things that stood out for me about Lorraine then and now were her positive attitude (which made her just so pleasant to be around) and HER LOVE FOR HER FAMILY.

To say that my friendship with Lorraine was dear to me and that I will miss her is a bit of an understatement.

With a humble heart, I offer my heartfelt condolences to Wenger family.
