Lynne Woodcock Obituary

With great sadness, our family announces the sudden passing of Lynne Marlene Woodcock (Campbell) of White Rock (Ladner) at Peace Arch Hospital Foundation Lodge on March 18, 2022.
Lynne was born and grew up in the South Vancouver area of Marpole. She attended David Lloyd George Elementary School and Sir Winston Churchill High School. Her work ethic was legendary - she picked spuds on Gordy's Combine and worked the phone lines for Mel's Towing and Delta Bus. For many years Lynne was a valued volunteer member of the Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary Superfluity Thrift Store. In her free time, Lynne always enjoyed a game of bingo and searching for garage sales, but her true passion was gardening. Her keen knowledge and creative eye were proudly displayed each year with a brilliant array of pots filled with thousands of magnificent blooms. She led an adventurous life, avidly travelling with her friends to many interesting places around the world. A devoted mother, grandmother and sister, Lynne's biggest gift was her caring and dedicated friendships with so many. Her kindness and wit will not be forgotten. May she Rest in Peace. Lynne was predeceased by her parents, Pat and George Campbell, and her beloved husband, Jim Woodcock (Delta Police). She is survived by her sister Shaun (Tony), son Mike (Marie), daughter Debbie (Tracy) and cherished grandson Cameron.
A celebration of her life with family and friends will be arranged at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in Lynne's name to Peace Arch Hospital Foundation Lodge or the Canadian Cancer Society.
