Mary Joyce Bouzek (nee. Warren)
February 7, 1931 - July 5, 2024
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Joyce Bouzek (nee Warren). Joyce was born February 7th, 1931, in Vancouver, BC, and passed peacefully in her sleep on July 5th, 2024 in Richmond BC Canada.
Joyce is predeceased by her mother Margret Stewart and father Sidney Warren, brother James Warren, and is now reunited with her beloved husband Jack Bouzek (1924 - 2019). Joyce is survived by her children Bill Bouzek (Heather), Glenn Bouzek (Norma), Barb Dawson (Raymond), grandchildren Robert, Robb, Bryan, Hayley, Raeleena, and their spouses.
Joyce married her sweetheart Jack in 1949 in Stewart, BC. Together they raised their 3 children and truly loved helping raise and spoil the 5 eventual grandchildren. The family moved to Ocean Falls BC in 1958 before settling into Richmond, BC in 1961.
Joyce was a true survivor, beating breast cancer, battling through heart conditions and the Covid pandemic, all with the grace and poise of a great woman. She is greatly loved by family and friends and will be deeply missed by many, including the staff and residents of The Maples & The Hamilton Care Village.
