Robert Helmer Obituary
Bob was born in Vancouver and spent his early years in Ladner. His 35-year career in the airline industry spanned its beginning with CPAir and retirement from Air Canada.
He was an adventurer, photographer, bird enthusiast, gardener, and lover of nature and music.
Bob is survived by Barbara, his wife of nearly 52 years, daughter Laurel, son-in-law Kent, grandchildren Ryah and Maddox, son and best buddy Nathan, and many good friends.
He was a one-of-a-kind man of integrity, honesty, kindness, and generosity. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
There will be no service at his request.

Bobby was my next door neighbour in ladner. His mom and dad and his sister Joanne were so nice to us as kids growing up. I'm so sorry to hear the passing of Bobby. Ted O'Sullivan

Sorry to hear of Bob´s passing. He was a great friend of my late brother Dennis Erlandsen who died in 2008 after a long illness. I remember Dennis telling me the fun of him and others driving around with Bob in his old wagon long ago. I like to think they´re both in Heaven now having a good laugh!
