Robert Lightheart Obituary
Bob passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the age of 75. He was born in Vancouver and was the older son of the late Genevieve (Jimmy) and Jack Lightheart. For the past seven years, Bob lived in Powell River. He will be missed by his many friends and lovingly remembered by his brother, Terry Lightheart. Bob was part of the creation of the Lightheart Foundation for Social Enterprise. A private gathering will be planned at a later date. Thank you to the Hospital and the RCMP for their compassion.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing, and send my deepest sympathy to you, Terry. I remember so many times we spent together with him when we were young. He was always caring for others and full of life. I recall his infectious laugh and how he used to philosophize about life. Even though I haven't seen Bob for many years, I will always cherish the memory of how he lovingly treated me like his little sister.

i met bob 12-13 years ago through my husband rick who knew bob for 28 years. bob treated rick like a son and me as his daughter-in-law i will miss the nightly calls from bob always wanting to know how our day was and when our next visit or get together would be i will miss his smile his laugh and his advise love and miss you dad kathy and rick

Bob befriended me when I first came to Canada from the UK in 1968. My first friend in this country, where I also met Terry and their mother. Bob and I worked together painting homes in N/Van.
We lost touch, but I never forgot. Very sad.
