Robert Allan Saunders

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Allan Saunders on May 3, 2025, at the age of 85.

Born in Saskatchewan, raised in Manitoba/Ontario, Bob settled home in Ladner, British Columbia, where he lived for over 50 years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose warmth, humour, and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife Judy, with whom he shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. He will be dearly missed by his daughter Kristine (Gordon), his son Kevin (Debbie), and his cherished grandchildren: Taylor, Kyle, Sarah, and Emily, who will always remember him as Papa.

Bob spent 45 years in the Customs Brokers business, with over 35 years with Davidson & Sons Customs Brokers, where he was a dedicated and respected member of the family. Following his retirement, he and Judy embraced their love of travel, exploring the world together on many memorable cruises.

Bob will be remembered for his gentle spirit, sense of humour, strong work ethic, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

As he wished, a private family gathering will be held to celebrate his life.
