Robert Edward Silvester

It is with sadness that I announce that my husband Bob Silvester passed away on January 10, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Christine; three sons, of whom he was very proud and loved very much, David, James, and John; as well as three granddaughters, Aja, Audrey, and Georgia, whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind a sister, Marjorie Porter, with whom he shared many happy memories of growing up in Toronto.
Bob was active in the Ladner Rotary Club, the Tsawwassen Shrine Club, and the Masonic Lodge, where he enjoyed many activities and friendships. He enjoyed his business forms sales career and, more recently, importing and selling wine from Europe and Eldorado Rum from Guyana. He enjoyed meeting new people and sharing experiences, which brought out his natural talent for salesmanship.
We invite you to join us for a celebration of his life at St David's Anglican Church at 1pm on February 5th, 2026, at 1115 – 51A Street, Tsawwassen, Delta, BC.
