Ruby GAMBLE Obituary
December 27, 1939 - December 5, 2022
Ruby passed away peacefully in the Nanaimo Palliative Care Unit surrounded by the love of her family.
Ruby was born in Northern Ireland and immigrated to Canada with her husband and children in 1977. After living in Alberta and heading east to N.B., they settled in Tsawwassen B.C. Thereafter, Ruby spent the last 10 years living in beautiful Nanoose Bay, on Vancouver Island.
Ruby is survived by her children Geoffrey, Jennifer (Ian), Ian (Jill) and Jillian and grandchildren Evan, James and Kyle, as well as her family circle in Northern Ireland and Scotland.
Ruby devoted her life to all of her family.
A life well lived.
A Celebration of Ruby's life will be held on
March 20th, 2023 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Tsawwassen Springs Ballroom,
5133 Springs Blvd, Delta BC.

It is with my most sincerest sympathy in the passing of such a wonderful , caring person who always loved to babysit for so many years in my neighbourhood. Ruby you will be missed your children loved you so much.

My sincerest condolences to all the family. Ruby - A beautiful soul. A devoted mother. A kind person. And an epic friend. A friend that each time we met up again we just picked up from where we left off the time before. I miss you everyday. Rest in Peace my friend!

Such a lovely, gracious lady. What would I have done without you, being able to take my one-and-only for daycare when I had to go back to work. That was soooo hard, but you made it soooo much easier. Your "availability", kindness & caring was so very much appreciated. I loved when you would pop by for a visit. You were one helluva woman Ruby Gamble! You will be missed, but never forgotten.
