Ruth Collier

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ruth Collier, in late September. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dave. She is survived by her son, Darren (Cathy); daughter, Sherri; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Tiff), Michelle, Amber (Sean) and Ashley (Tyler); and great-grandchildren, Landon, Carter, Garrett, John and Jack.
In her childhood years, Ruth enjoyed vacationing with her family at Mule Lake and Matlock. She continued travelling after marriage, vacationing in Hawaii and Palm Springs with her husband and close family friends. Ruth enjoyed listening to her favourite artist, Englebert, knitting and talking for endless hours on the phone. Her humour was infectious. She was an advocate for Save the Delta Hospital and was proud of her efforts. Ruth was devoted to her family, cultivating close relationships with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She has created many beautiful memories that will live on and comfort those who held her dear.
