Sharon MARSH Obituary
MARSH, Sharon M. (nee McKelvie)
On May 13th, 2024 Sharon passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family.
Born June 18th, 1944 in Wells, B.C., to John and Rita McKelvie, Sharon grew up in Quesnel along with her sister Pat. As a young adult, she made her way to Vancouver before eventually settling in Ladner, B.C. and starting a family. She was a local hairdresser at Delta Hospital and Kinsmen.
Sharon was beloved for her bubbly personality, zest for life, and sharp sense of style. She was regularly seen around Ladner and Tsawwassen at the shops, socializing with friends, acquaintances, and strangers alike, making new friends wherever she went; a real social butterfly. She especially enjoyed jazz dancing, travelling, curling, pub nights and family dinners. More than anything she loved the company of her family and friends.
We will miss our Nana tremendously.
Sharon is survived by her former husband Don Marsh and predeceased by her partner Ed Duchek. She is also survived by her daughter Jodie Schwuchow (Dirk, Larissa, Erika and Louis) and predeceased by her daughter Stacy Sinclair (Todd, Taryn and Kate).
