Yulanda BRUININK Obituary

BRUININK, Yulanda (Landi) Yvette
May 4th, 1960 - October 6th, 2022

On October 6th, our beloved Landi passed away surrounded by the love of her life, four children and sister Louise. Landi was predeceased by parents Howie and Lorraine Howard and father in-law Al Bruinink. She leaves behind her husband, Martin; children Nique (Hunter, Olivia, Lukas), Cole and wife Jess (Addie, Sadie), Stephanie and husband Greg (Jeremy, Emma), Sydney and husband Taylan (Aubree); siblings Jacky, Mike and Louise, mother in law Flora and all the extended family that surrounded her over the years.

Landi was born in Edmonton, Alberta, spent a few years in Germany, then moved back to the prairies before finding her forever home in Tsawwassen. There she met her true love and formed lifelong friendships. She had a long professional career, but her most treasured role was that of Nana Landi to her 8 grandchildren. Vivacious and admirable, she was a light to be around. Landi has touched the lives of so many in her short 62 years. She will be greatly missed and thought of often.

We as a family wish to thank the home health palliative team and the Irene Thomas Hospice for their sincere support.

A Celebration in Landi's honour,
will be held in the spring of 2023.

I am so sorry to hear this news, and so late. Landi was such a great energy and always willing to go above and beyond. She shared so many stories about her family and her love of being a grandma! My deepest condolences to her friends and family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Having worked with Landi at BCHydro allowed me to get to know what a caring and devoted family person she was. It was a pleasure to have known her.........Landi you will be missed.
