""Great is thy Faithfulness"" STAM, Bert, Went Home to be with his Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ on Friday March 8th, 2019 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband for almost 69 years to Rita (nee Hulsman). Loving father of Joanne (Keith) Oosthoek, Tony (Vickie) Stam, Eric (Diane) Stam, Henry (Evelyn) Stam, Jane Roach, Bert (Harriet) Stam and Jackie (Orwin) Bandstra. Cherished Grandad to 25 grandchildren, great-grandad to 21 and predeceased by one great-granddaughter. He is survived by siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family both in Canada and Holland. The family thanks the staff at Seasons and Lakeridge Health Bowmanville for their excellent care and compassion shown to Bert and his family. Visitation will be held at REHOBOTH CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 130 Scugog Street Bowmanville on Tuesday March 12th from 5 - 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at REHOBOTH CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH , 130 Scugog Street on Wednesday March 13th at 1 pm, with visitation from 12 - 1 pm. Private Interment at Bowmanville Cemetery.
