Bertram DINGLEY Obituary

DINGLEY, Bertram Joseph, WWII Veteran, General Motor Employee for 46 years - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday May 22, 2018 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 98th year. Beloved husband of Jean. Devoted father of Laura (Fred Hardy), Terri (Ken Hoy), and Tracy (Mike Patterson). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ryan, Amanda, Jen, Jacquie, Jessica, and Bryce. He is survived by his sister Iris. Special thanks to the staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their care and support during his time there. Bert proudly served his country in WWII and was also a dedicated member of the Masonic Lodge, the Oshawa Legion, RCAF and the Canadian Corps. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A graveside service will take place at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (905-443-3376) on Saturday June 2, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. with a Celebration of his life to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43, 371 Simcoe St. South, Oshawa. If desired, in memory of Bert donations can be made to Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Memories can be shared www.mountlawn.ca
