Brent HOLMES Obituary
Brent was a force of nature, never afraid of hard work or helping a friend or family member with anything. He was endlessly determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He was unendingly proud of his family. Anyone who knew him knows that he loved trading cars, Elvis, The Rolling Stones, Captain Kirk, his dog Beau and always could find something to laugh at. He was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. He was best friends to many who knew him. Brent was predeceased by his father, John Walton Holmes. He is survived by His wife Rhonda and daughters Courtney, Brooklyn and Cadence, mother Florence (Mike), sister Bridget DeWyze and her family and brother Brian and his family.
The family would like to also like to thank the healthcare teams at Sunnybrook, Princess Margaret and Lakeridge Health Oshawa, Emergency and ICU, for their dedicated care, hard work and professionalism.
Visitation was held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry (905-985-7331) on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. A private service will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 2 p.m. To attend this service virtually, a link will be made available on the day of the service. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation or the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

I'm sorry to hear of Brent's passing. I am a long time customer of his. I would call his office and specifically ask for him. He had a way of making people feel welcomed. He made sure each of my 4 children had a "in office appointment " to set them up with insurance on their first car. He made them feel special, like they had a "friend in the insurance business ". He made sure they had everything they needed, at a price they could afford. He put HIS card, inside their plastic red insurance wallet. He shook their hand, and his smile was genuine. If I had an issue, or a question, he made time to talk. I recommended Brent to all my family and friends. I'm saddened by his passing. I offer my sincerest condolences to his family. He was a very GOOD MAN.

I have known Brent for the past 10 years as a realtor who always sent clients his way. Brent and his Team are the hardest working, friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. He was a staple in my business and always sent me a christmas card every year. I feel his professional traits spoke volumes to the kind person he was. I pray that family amd friends will find the peace they meed in the coming days and years ahead. Brent was an AWESOME man who made the world better and joyous. The entire team at Blue Canyon CPA is deeply saddened with Brent's sudden departure. His smile, wisdom and joyous nature will be greatly missed in our offices and our lives. Our entire team sends our deepest condolences to his immediate and extended family. It's so sad to hear of Brent's death.
I can still remember playing piggy-back with him during our recess time at Williamson Road public school. It was always wise to be on his team. I also attended Malvern with him. He was a good guy.

Our hearts are broken with the passing of "Uncle Brent". Always such a positive force in our lives and a true friend for over 33 years. Always respectful of what to say and when to say it. We love you and will miss you but you will always be in our hearts. Words are never enough, but love and support always for Rhonda and the girls.
