Cameron Edward "Cam" CYR

With heavy hearts, the family is saddened to announce the sudden passing of Cam at home on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the age of 64. He was the beloved son of Charlie and Beryl, loving father of Tyler (Trina) and adoring grandfather of Logan and Sienna. Predeceased by infant brother Laurie, he will forever be lovingly remembered by sisters Kim (Allan) and Leanne (Peter) and brother Jeff. A wonderful uncle dearly loved by his nieces and nephews, Cam was known for his terrific sense of humour and kind, compassionate nature. He will be sadly missed by former wife Kelly (John) and his many friends, including those on his treasured Fighting Irish pool team. Visitation will be held at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King St. West, Oshawa on Monday, May 30, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 847 King Street. Funeral services will be held at All Saints' Anglican Church, 300 Dundas Street West, Whitby on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that any donations in Cam's memory be made to All Saints' Anglican Church (allsaintswhitby.org) or the Canadian Diabetes Association (diabetes.ca).
