Catherine Geraldine "Cathy" Kitchen

Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at her home, at the age of 80. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bob. Loving mother of Laurie Lang (Roger Amsinga) and Rob O'Dette (Deb). Cherished grandmother of Jocelyn and Brandon Lang and Devon O'Dette (Cheyenne) and great-grandmother of Holden and Parker. Dear sister of Joan Hooper (Ron) and Bill Scollard (Kate). Predeceased by her siblings Larry Scollard, Michael Scollard, Elaine Scollard, and Jane Henderson. Special friend of Vi Carr.
Cathy was a long-time dedicated volunteer in her community. She was also a dedicated member of AA. A very special Thank-You goes to the paramedics and PSW's that took such good care of mom.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 10-11 a.m. at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Memorial Service followed in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Urn burial at Groveside Cemetery.
