Connor TOMLINSON Obituary

Connor passed away on July 5, 2022 at the young age of 24. Connor is survived by parents, Ava and James Tomlinson and sister Desiree; and loved ones Lyn, Brooke, Victoria, Sam and Phoenix. He has been supported on this journey by many friends and family, near and far. A joyous child who spread love and energy wherever he went. Our family has so many happy memories of camping trips, holidays, board game nights and many other wonderful times. Connor experienced early life trauma and this impacted life growing up and later years. He was so happy to participate in the program at Pine River Institute as our family became stronger. These last few months have been a continuing struggle for Connor. It is a very sad end for such a beautiful, complex soul. You will be missed by many, many, people; you touched more lives than you will ever know. We love you so much, to infinity and back. Connor's memory will be best served with donations to Westminster United Church or Durham Outlook for the Needy. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Westminster United Church, 1850 Rossland Road East, Whitby.

I am so sorry for your loss, Ava, James and Desirée. Learning about Connor´s death a year later has left me stunned and heartbroken. Teaching Connor in grades 7 and 8 bring back so many fond memories, and I am thankful for having known Connor at that time. He was an amazing kid who was incredibly bright, articulate and had a great sense of humour... always kept me on my toes . Thinking of the entire family and saying a prayer in memory of Connor. May he rest in peace.
