SOPER, David ""Randy"" - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family & friends on Monday August 14th, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 66. Loving father of Ron and his wife Sarah, and Nick. Proud grandfather of Caleb, Noah, Leland, Cynthia, and Selina. Dear brother of Judy (Dave Metcalf). Caring partner of Christine. Randy will be greatly missed by his long-time friend Bryon, his family, extended family, many friends and colleagues. Visitation will take place at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME , 21 Garrard Rd. Whitby (905-443-3376) on Thursday August 17th, 2017 from 1-3 & 5 -7:30 p.m. A celebration of Randy's life will commence in the chapel at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lakeridge Health Oshawa - Cancer Centre, or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
