VANDERBY, Gerben ""Gerry"" - (Veteran WW II. Proud 60 Year Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #419 in Port Perry. 30 year employee of General Motors Oshawa and long-time member of the Port Perry Seniors Carvers Club). Peacefully, on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 92. Gerry Vanderby of Port Perry, beloved husband of Tina (nee Scholten). Loved father of Greta Vanderby and Mike Vanderby (Sharon). Loving grandfather of Kristy Allen (Neill), Jeff Vanderby (Julie) and Andrea Barker (Linton) and great grandfather of Drew and Brooke Allen. Gerry was predeceased by his brothers and sisters. The family of Gerry Vanderby will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME ""McDermott-Panabaker Chapel"" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, August 10th from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Private interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
