Giuseppe "Joseph" CAVALLARI

Peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Giuseppina (64 years). Loving father of Tony (Rose) and Nicki (Greg). Cherished Nonno of Christina (Mike), Victor (Keyanna), Joseph (Jessica), Julia, Erika (Johnny), Michael, and Christopher (Megan). Great Nonno of Jacob, Hailey, Jolene, and Luna. Will be missed by his sister Carmela (Luigi). Brother-in-law of Teresa (Antonino), Salvatore (Sebastiana), Lucia (Antonino), Franca (Giuseppe). Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Nicolina, son-in-law of Sebastiana and Corrado, sisters Filomena (Annibole) and Maria, brothers Fedele and Michele (Maria). Joe will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, family, friends, neighbours, and those that had the pleasure of knowing him. A special thank you to the staff of the palliative care unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their compassion and care. Visitation was held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, (905) 440 3595, on Friday November 11th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass was held at Holy Family Parish in Whitby on Saturday November 12th at 10:30 a.m. Entombment followed at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Lakeridge Health Foundation would be appreciated.
