Irwin PATTERSON Obituary

Passed peacefully on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Beloved husband of the late Diane (Nee: Fabian). Predeceased by son Stephen (Ella). Lovingly remembered by his children Scott, Shelley, and Suzanne (Jack). Dear brother of Al (Nancy). Survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation at NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, March 5th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Aquamation to follow visitation with interment at St. Wolodymyr and Olha Ukranian Cemetery at a later date. If so desired memorial donations may be made to Actor's Fund of Canada.

I suddenly looked up his name and I thought he was still acting, shocked to find out he already passed away. We used to work together in early 1970s at Gulf Oil, 800;Bay St on midnight shifts as we were security guards. Once he drove me home on a Christmas Day in his bron New Yorker. We ordered so many Pizzas laced with hot peppers! I miss him. We hung out together couple of times, went to see his friend Norbert. He lived west end or downtown at that time.
He used to be an actor and worked for Purolator as well. Fun times!

Pat and my husband D'Arcy were the Odd Couple for Oshawa Little Theatre and since then he has been a very good friend. I'm so sorry to hear about his passing. I know he leaves many amazing memories for you all.
