John Edward "Jack" MEMERY

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the age of 88. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 63 years Doreen, his daughter Kim Visser (Memery), her husband Edward, his two grand-daughters Carlie & Erin, brother Cecil and his cousins Eileen & Victor Pemberton, along with many friends and family in Canada and Ireland. Jack was a kind and gentle soul, who enjoyed life, he will be forever remembered for his love of family, his video camera and his red jacket! Jack has been called home, and will be greeted by his loving son, the late Don Alexander Memery, sister in law Betty, sisters Joan, Dora & Sylvia, brother Julien and all the family who has gone before him. Friends may call at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Monday April 18, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A funeral mass will be held at ST. John the Evangelist Parish (903 Giffard St, Whitby, ON L1N 2S2 Phone: (905) 668-3676) on Tuesday April 19, 2022 at 10:30 am.
