Lois Yellowlees Obituary

It is with breaking hearts that we share the passing of Mom - Lois who peacefully slept away at Victoria Manor, Lindsay in the early hours of March 25, just shy of her 98th birthday.
She was born and raised on a farm in Blackstock and moved in the late 50's to a farm north of Solina where she and her husband Harvey raised their family and shared their life. During her years as a public-school teacher, she touched many lives. She was an active and involved member of the Solina Community through The Hall, Women's Institute and The Silver Set and with Eldad United Church - the UCW, Choir and Sunday School.
Lois was the wife of the late Harvey Yellowlees and is lovingly remembered by her children - Karen Dair (Don), Brenda Metcalf (Ron), Janice Boyd (Ed), Dennis Yellowlees (Karen) and Wayne Yellowlees (Mette). Her Grandchildren - Sara (Terry), Michael, Nancy (Dan), Tim (Terri Anne), Kimberley (Peter), Emily (Spencer), Christine, Bill (Amy), Dan (Alexis), Jennifer, Elizabeth (Jag), Martha (Brett), Emma (Ryan) and Thomas and her Great Grandchildren - Kassidy (Ben), Jacob, Miranda, Rylan, Jack, Kieran, Ruby, Noah, Madison, Emmett, Blake and Kayleigh. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Marion Larmer. Lois was pre-deceased by her siblings - Ralph, John, Beryl and Glenn. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and all who knew her.
