We are sorry to announce the passing of Lori Denstedt-Chappell after dealing with her forth battle with cancer, on Friday December 9th, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville at the age of 64 with her husband by her side. Lori Denstedt-Chappell (Nee. Gabourie), Beloved wife of Joseph Chappell. Loving mother of Troy, Lisa, Jamie, Corey, Faye, Alissa, Shyla, Josh, Holly, and Ann-Marie. Loving GG (Grandma) of Madeline, Charlie, Cheyenne, Kobe Jayla, Drayden, Mya, Vanessa, Clayton, Jacob, Ethan, and more. Dearest sister to John and his wife Lisa Gabourie, Karen and her husband George Pelzowski, Catherine Gabourie, Paul and his wife Ann Gabourie. Beloved daughter to Fred and late mother Donna Gabourie and dearest niece to uncle Pete (Peter Gabourie), she will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West Oshawa (905-721-1234) on Saturday, December 17th, from 4 - 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 18th at 1:30 p.m. with an hour visitation one hour prior to service. Memorial donations may be made to Simcoe Hall Settlement House or the Canadian Cancer Society.
