Beloved husband of Doris for over 61 years.
Loving father of Todd (Ashlee), Chris (Carrie) and Angela.
Cherished grandfather of Kristen (Drew), Jamey, Kelsee (Brett) and Justen and great-grandfather of Hadleigh and Hazel. Dear uncle of Jeff. Predeceased by his parents Basil and Norma Long and by his brother Cliff.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 29th from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa) with words of remembrance being shared at 1:45 p.m., the Celebration of Phil's Life will continue at Thornton Arms Pub 575 Thornton Road North, Oshawa from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society. Online condolences along with a full version of the obituary may be viewed/shared at www.armstrongfh.ca

Phil was a neighbour and a friend and I had always wanted to teach with him. So very sorry that I missed the celebration of his life. He is missed. Love to Doris and family.
