R. MORRIS Obituary
Passed away with peace and grace surrounded by her daughters on May 8, 2022 at her home in Whitby in her 92nd year. Loving wife of the late Ron Morris of Whitby for 53 years. Daughter of Margaret and Daniel Haughian of Northern Ireland, then Toronto. Pre-deceased by sister Marie Forbes, (Harold), and Margaret Heath, (Norman). Survived by her sister and brother-in-law Anne and Ollie Kostyk. Dear sister-in-law to Kay Morris, (John). Dearest Mother to Rosanne Morris (Duncan MacKenzie), Mary Pat Reed (Les), Joanie Johansen (Randy), Nancy White (Jim), and the late Joseph Morris. Grandma to 10 well-loved grandchildren: Michael, Heather, Lauren, Derek, David, Maggie, Matthew, Leah, Mary Catherine, Larisa, and Kate, and 17 great-grands. They loved their "GG". Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist in Whitby followed by a reception and interment of cremated remains at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Mom's honour to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Covenant House.

Joanie, My Mom and I had a lovely chat with your Mom in the spring. She was buying beanie babies for the Grandchildren or should I say the Great Grandchildren. All of you will be remembered in our thoughts and prayers as you mourn your Mom's passing and celebrate her life. God Bless !!!
