Rita Skinner Obituary

Passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on December 10th, 2021, at the age of 82 years. Dear sister of William Douglas Skinner (Betty) and the late Betty Lou (John) Smart. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She was a loving and fiercely loyal friend and Aunt and will be missed. A Memorial Service will be held at ST. JOHN'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, Bowmanville on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 11 a.m., with visitation from 10:30 - 11 a.m. Those wishing to view the service virtually, a link has been provided on the website. Memorial Donations may be made to St. John's Anglican Church or The Salvation Army. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville. I was blessed to spend time with Rita while we sorted her many wonderful pictures and hear all of her memories of her travels and adventures. She had a wonderful sense of humour and great determination. She will be greatly missed.
