I met Rod and I believe the year 2001 he came in as a customer looking at me to fix his car at that point my kids were in public school and I used to have to pick them up and bring them back to the shop because they´re too young to stay alone my boys and I nicknamed Rod the mad scientist because the boys had a scientist at the school that week and the name stuck for many years and still has today Rod was a great guy ,great customer, a blast to be around he became a friend we tour up to Halliburton and reminisce about his journey working for Bell he knew where I camped at Edgewater Beach on Lake kashsagawigamog he was friends with the owner I worked at many rods Carzs the Grand Am the purple Volkswagen his Nissan. He´d often say let´s go for breakfast or lunch one time lunch at the casino and us old farts put quarters in the slot machines. Lol They didn´t kick us out we had a good laugh as you always did with Rod. I am going to miss you bud. Rest in peace Wayne

I worked with Rod at CMHC many years ago. Rod was always upbeat, friendly and made the workplace a fun place to be. When I bumped into him years later, he was the same. Many great parties and laughs. Rip Rod, you were one of a kind.
