Sandra Ruth MILNE

Surrounded by love, joy and sorrow, Sandra's battle with dementia ended on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. She is reunited with the love of her life, Walter, with whom she shared their own version of "The Notebook" for almost 62 years. Beloved mother to Ruth, Ken, David and Summer. Adored Gramma to Alyssa, Arianna, Daniel, Bradley, Jessica and Adam. Sandra's heart was huge, always room for one more person who needed a hug, kind word, home made food or one of her famous chocolate chip cookies, a recipe passed on and cherished by all of us. Our deepest gratitude goes to Streamway Villa in Cobourg where mom spent her last 9 months. This home and it's staff were the angels who cared for her as part of their family and we cannot fully express how blessed we were to have them in her life. Her faith was always strong and she spent many years at Tyrone United Church with UCW, dinners, fundraisers and collecting various donations for those in need. In memory we ask you remember to do a kindness for someone in need. Any donations in her memory, we ask go to Tyrone United Church. There will be no service at this time.
