Sandra was a compassionate, knowledgeable, and strong advocate for seniors and long-term care. It was an honor to work for Sandra from 1999-2011 - through those years several programs were introduced to support residents needing care and services in the 10 City of Toronto Homes for the Aged.
She was also a very proud mother and grandmother - I recall the day she learned that many of us did not have the standard screen saver. Yes - her screen saver was changed to a picture of her grandchildren.
My deepest condolences for the loss of an amazing mother, grandmother and leader.

I met Sandra over 30 years ago through her work in long term care. I immediately adored her and was always so proud of her accomplishments with the City of Toronto. A lovely person. Such sad news.

I am so sorry and sad to hear of dear Sandra's passing. For a couple of years, she was a valued member at Curves gym for women. It was a pleasure and an honour to coach her towards good health. She is still missed by our members and myself. I will keep her family and friends in my prayers. Rest peacefully, dear Sandra.

Probably one the most amazing persons I have ever met, her ability to remember names and personalize a conversation with everyone she talked to was special.
I spent a very close time with Sandra in 2005 and will never forget the connection we had and her support and professionalism.
I would not be true to myself if I did not mention her work ethic which we all could learn from.
She was a very special person, leader and advocate

A life well lived. I knew and greatly respected Sandra as a compassionate leader in long-term care, never an easy business to be in. My warmest condolences to all of you who are feeling the loss of you mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
