Simon BIERSTEKER Obituary

(Owner/Operator of Simon's Super Service)
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville with his sons by his side on Thursday February 16, 2023, Simon went to be with his Lord and Saviour in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Lois. Supportive dad of James and wife Deborah, Steve, and wife Dana. Devoted and adoring Grandpa of Teagan, Zachary, Lyndsay, and Simone. Brother of Annie Debruin (late Bert), Claude Biersteker (Anne), Dick Biersteker (Aleida) and John Biersteker (Patti). Simon will be dearly missed by extended family and friends. A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church (300 Rossland Rd. E., Oshawa) at 11 am. Donations in memory of Simon can be made to Calvary Baptist Church - Sponsor a Kid for Summer Camp, as supported by the Fire Up The Grille car show. Arrangements entrusted to McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558). The family would like to thank friends, neighbours and family that have supported us over the last number of months.
