Stewart MORELAND Obituary

Peacefully, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at his home in Port Perry, at age 83. Dr. Wray Moreland dearly loved husband of the late Marie (Dr. Marie Quantz). Loved father of Sarah Moreland (Clifford Burdeyney) of Port Perry, John Moreland of Hong Kong, and Catherine Moreland-Barter (Nelson Barter) of Port Perry. Loving grandfather of Matthew (Karla). Dear brother of Robert Moreland of Sunbury and Carol Shaw of Kingston and brother-in-law of John Quantz. The family of Wray Moreland will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Friday, November 11th from 12 - 1 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Alzheimer Society of Durham region. Dr. Moreland cared for 3 generations of our family. He treated us with so much kindness. He was a caring and compassionate family Dr. My family has so much respect for him. He has made a huge impact on so many peoples lives. My deepest sympathy to his family.
