BOWDEN, William Henry Bettis - Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday April 27th, 2019 at the age of 87. Predeceased by his wife Mary (2007). Much loved Dad of Bill Bowden and his wife Leslie of Whitby, Wendy Rinaldi (late Frank) of Port Perry, Hank Bowden and his wife Kim of Port Perry, Tom Bowden of Uxbridge, Ron Bowden and his wife Linda of Ottawa, Maryann Bowden Adkins of Whitby, Gary Bowden and his wife Sandy of Markham, Darren Bowden of Whitby. Predeceased by his infant son Harold. Grandfather of 23 and 35 Great Grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Emily Walden (late John), Margaret Hardy (late Rick) and predeceased by his sisters Doris (late Roy), Mickey (late Fritz) and Jean (Bill). Visitation and private family service will be held at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME , 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby. In memory of William, memorial donations to Alzheimer's Society of Durham or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
