Richard Bayliss Obituary
Richard Jack Bayliss at 93 years of age, peacefully passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Personal Care Home in Arborg, MB.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years of marriage, Lenore Bayliss; his sisters Shirley, Carol, and Judy as well as sisters-in-law Fran, Maryanne, and Glenda and numerous nieces and nephews; his son Mark Bayliss and his children Ryan, Jennifer, and Zacharie; and his daughter Denise Roy and spouse Gilles Roy and their children Ruth, Jesse and Hannah.
Richard (Dick) and Lenore (Lynn) resided on their farm 8 miles northwest of Elkhorn, MB from 1972 to 2007 and moved into the village of Elkhorn until 2018. Dick worked for John Deere dealership in Virden as a mechanic along with his own farm business. He was well known for storytelling of his adventures in BC road construction and his car dealership partner George Stayburg in Penticton, BC. Dick and Lynn moved closer to family in Arborg, Manitoba in 2019 where they enjoyed living in the assisted living complex for three years.
We will miss him greatly, but he is now residing in his heavenly home where he will no longer feel the restraints of his earthly body suit.
Dad this is not goodbye but rather see you later when we join you later in our heavenly home.
