Samuel Henry Galbraith

Peacefully at his home in Mono on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Rosemary Galbraith. Dear father of James and his wife Kathy and Pat Dickins and her husband Peter. Remembered by his step-children Keith (Linda), Rick (Fiona) and Nancy (Scott). Cherished grandfather of Sam (Megen) and Matthew, step-grandfather of Quin (Erin), Devin, Joshua, Finley and Kenji. Predeceased by his great-granddaughter Scarlett; his brother Bruce and his sisters Anna and Margaret. Samuel will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. RSVP WILL BE REQUIRED.
A Private Family Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 (Webcast of funeral will be available). Memorial donations to Headwaters Health Care Foundation or Tweedsmuir Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Samuel in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
