Teena LaPORTE

Teena LaPorte (nee Doussept), age 52, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Stratford Rotary Hospice on Sunday, December 4, 2022. Born in Sudbury, daughter of Ken and Colleen (Johns) Doussept. Teena is survived by her loving husband Jason LaPorte. She was very proud of her two children Alex and Cassidy. Teena will be fondly remembered by her brother and sister-in-law Chris (Dana) Doussept and their son Nolan. Teena's mother-in-law, Marg LaPorte, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Lance (Alla) LaPorte and their children Sophia and Nicholas will also miss her. Our dear companion PK will also miss Teena. Teena was predeceased by her grandparents Betty and Lloyd Johns, Wilma LaChance, and her cousin Jeramie DuBois. Teena received her B.A. from McMaster University after graduating from LaSalle Secondary School in Sudbury. Teena will be missed by her colleagues at Haber and Associates in Burlington where she has worked as a law clerk since 2003. We would like to sincerely thank our extended family at the Burlington Fire Department as well. We would also like to thank all the staff and volunteers of the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth for the exceptional care given to Teena. Family and friends are invited to Teena's memorial visitations on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford. A Celebration of Teena's life will take place on Monday, December 12, 2022, from 5-8 p.m. at The Hub in Stratford at 31 Market Pl 2nd floor, Stratford, ON.
