Amy Finamore Obituary

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Amy Catherine Finamore on February 8, 2023 surrounded by her family at Hospice Wellington after a courageous battle.
Loving wife to Jakob Churney. Proud mother to Mikayla, Jesse, and their dog Maverick. Treasured daughter to Rob and Chris. Cherished sister to Greg. Predeceased by her grandparents William and Marie Keating and Nick and Mary Finamore. Will be missed by all of her friends and extended family such as Flora, Steph, Tracy, Emma, and Nicole.
Amy worked mostly in the service industry dealing with customers. She loved outdoor walks, fishing, driving her car, and going to car meets.
Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph, ON, where cremation has taken place. The family invited friends and relatives to join for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 4:00 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Breast Cancer Society or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family. Donations can be made by cash or cheque at the funeral home or online following the links below her obituary at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com

My hearts go out to Amy's family. The world has lost one outstanding and kind hearted person when Amy left. As one of Amy's teachers, I watched her beautiful spirit as the helped students and teachers alike. Her word were always kind and she went the extra mile to help anyone in need. I'm not sure the world was as kind to Amy as she was to the world. SHe was so proud of the wonderful kids who called her Mom. My hearts go out to you Jakob, Mikayla and Jesse as well as the rest of the family.
