Died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital at the age of 75. Ann, of Wasaga Beach, formerly of Guelph, beloved wife of the late Bill for over 52 years. Loving mother of Brian (Vita), Danny and Sheila (Derek Roy). Cherished grandmother of Liam, Justine, Corbin, Isaiah, Gabriel and Alisson. Dear sister of Trudy (Bob) and Raina (Dave) and sister-in-law of Marsha (Bill), Luanne (the late Neil), Joe (Sue), Dan (Barb) and Mary (Mark). Ann was predeceased by her parents Leonard and Florence Geiss, Bill's parents William and Margaret Clair and her brothers-in-law Jim, Tom, Mike and Peter. She will be lovingly remembered by her cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends as a kind, caring and generous woman. Ann was a Registered Practical Nurse, first at the St. Joseph Maternity Ward and then for over 25 years at the Homewood Health Centre. She was a woman of many talents, including darts, bowling, poker and bingo. She was a dedicated "supermom" with an infectious laugh and a determination that prompted her to learn many new skills simply to prove that she could. Friends are invited to join the family at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach for visitation on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 1 p.m. for the memorial service in the chapel at 3 p.m. If desired, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by Ann's family.
