Brian CORSCADDEN Obituary
We are sad to announce the death of Brian George Corscadden on April 10th, 2022 at the age of 83.
Loving husband of Sandy for 59 years, father to Cindy Ringwood (Frank Nievet), Glenn
Corscadden and Heather Corscadden (Nathan Lawr). Grandfather to Greg Ringwood (Julie Ringwood), Nick Ringwood (Kristen Ringwood), Hazel Lawr and Hugo Lawr. Dearly missed by his sister Joyce Seaban and now reunited with his predeceased twin brother Gary Corscadden. Fondly remembered by Joan and Juergen Grosskopf, George Ringwood, Jacqueline and Barry Bethune, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Born February 5, 1939 in Toronto's east end to Emerson and Ruth Corscadden, first time parents who were shocked to leave the hospital with surprise twins! Brian left high school early to pursue an apprenticeship in the printing trade as a lithographer, with his son Glenn following in his footsteps. Brian was a selfless and caring man, who put the needs of others before his own.
He loved cheering for the Blue Jays and Maple Leafs, playing cribbage and backgammon, talking about history and feeling proud of his family.
We would like to thank the staff on 6 West at Guelph General hospital for their compassionate and skilled end of life care. Thank you to Dr K. Slatkovsky, Dr J. Yi and Dr J. Laird.
A private ceremony will occur, with a celebration of life planned for later in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com. If you wish to make a memorial donation, please consider the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital.
