Colin JOB Obituary

JOB, Colin William Born in Listowel, Ontario on September 8, 1972, tragically passed away in Fort Myers, Florida on November 12, 2019. Colin loved life like no other. He packed 70 years of living into 47 years. Colin's contagious smile and giggle would light up everyone around him. Colin was very driven and would stop at nothing to achieve his goals. He did exactly what he mapped out to do in life and lived life to the fullest. Colin will leave an empty hole in all our hearts. He loved whomever he met, and they loved him back. Colin took over the family business Ren's Pets Depot and grew it to almost 12 stores before selling it and retiring to Fort Myers Florida, Fergus, ON and Dorset, ON. Colin enjoyed having people around and often hosted groups. Because of his love for speed, you could often find him at a track day racing cars, on a snowmobile trail or just a nice car driving around. He will be missed by his family. Colin is survived by his loving wife Amy (Gillespie) who he adored. Parents Ren and Sharon (Judd), brother Kevin and Nanci, Mav and Charlie, brother Dwayne and Karin, Josh, Carter Sydney and Sam. Parents-in-law Gene and Brenda Gillespie, sister-in-law Megan, sister-in-law Melissa and Justin, Zachary and Kaylan and brother-in-law Ryan and Shelly, Kate and Grace. We welcome all to join the family for visitation at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel , 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 12-3 and 5-7 p.m. A Celebration of Colin's life will take place at the Ariss Valley Golf and Country Club, 5700 Wellington County Rd. 86, Ariss, ON N0B 1B0 on Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 1-3 p.m. with a tribute to Colin at 1:30 p.m. A light lunch of sandwiches and snacks will be served from 1:30-2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please fill in your donor card or visit beadonor.ca for more information.
