Graham John Gwilt FRANKS

FRANKS, Graham John Gwilt Age 47, died suddenly in Guelph on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Beloved son of John Douglas and Janet Franks. Older brother of Gregory (Saara Naudts). Uncle to Poppy Alexandra. Nephew of Barbara Anderson and cousin of Lauren. Predeceased by grandparents John and Jean Gwilt, and John and Florence Franks. After attending the University of Guelph Hospitality course, Graham brought his enthusiasm to work in downtown Guelph restaurants. He graduated from the Stratford Culinary School. He was a truly cheerful and caring man, a true friend to many. He cared little for material possessions, valuing his personal relationships above all. Graham welcomed sincerely with an embrace and a smile. His light will be sorely missed. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL , 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Guelph Public Library or your local library would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Graham J. G. Franks in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 2:30 pm.
