Mrs. McLean was one of our teachers in my first year of nurses training at the Wellesley Hospital in 1970 in Toronto. I recognized her in this recent picture right away before seeing her name. She still has the same smile, the same haircut and the same warm kindness in her eyes in the above picture. Mrs. McLean was a wonderful part of our Wellesley family in residence, classrooms and the clinical areas of the hospital. My friend Bianca (nee Di Genova) Carter and I were in the same year at the Wellesley and we have also lived in Guelph Ontario for many decades. Our deepest condolences to Mrs. McLean's family.

I was a student at The Wellesley from Sept. 1970 to May 1973. Mrs. McLean was one of my teachers in the first year. She was a vital part of our first year of nurses training. Mrs. McLean was kind, most intelligent and a part of our Wellesley family in nurses' residence, classrooms and the clinical teaching at The Wellesley Hospital. Her hair was dark black then, but she still has the same haircut and the same smile and the same kindness in her eyes in the above picture. Myself and a friend Bianca, from the Wellesley also have been living in Guelph for many years. Condolences to her family.

Dear David and Rob
The last months have brought much sadness to you and the grand children.
Your mom and dad will now be out of pain and suffering
They were both wonderful folks whom we enjoyed very much.
Yes, your mother did like dogs. For each time, that we kept Josie, she threatened us with consequences if anything bad should happen to her during our watch.

Janet was friend of mine from Keele St School in Toronto. She and I with our other friend Judy became a threesome sharing giggles, overnight sleepovers and Girl Guide Camp together. We did have a reunion several years ago and were impressed that Janet remembered all the words of the Camp song. Oddly enough Judy and I recently got together at a cottage and were talking about Janet while looking through some of our photos and when Judy returned home she was shocked to read of Janet's passing. Condolences to her family on the loss of this vibrant woman whose life was well described in her Obituary in the Guelph newspaper ( the link was sent to me by Judy.) I like to think that she is now singing with the choir of angels. In sympathy to her
sons and family and to her sister Peggy. Lawrie Barton Foresters Falls Ontario.
