Joan BOT Obituary
1930 - 2023
At Hospice Wellington, on May 14, 2023, Joan Bot, wife of Cecil Bot (2011) peacefully slipped away. Dear mother of the late Michael (1991); the late Peter (1976) and Carolin Bot (Paul Crowe). Loved grandmother of Jeff Bot (Regina, Saskatchewan), Becky Bot (Belle River), and Caitlyn Crowe (Guelph). Proud to have 5 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Great Grama will be watching over JoJo from above when he arrives. Predeceased by her parents Mabel and Harry Evans (Guelph). Dear sister of the late Georgina, Jean, Murray, Sheila (twin sister), Ron, Arlene, and Eleanor, and survived by her sister Patricia Reilly. Joan will be laid to rest with her twin sister Sheila Peters at Mary Mount Cemetery, Guelph. Joan enjoyed anytime spent with her grandchildren, whether it be a phone call, visit or sleepover, they always brightened her day! Joan often enjoyed reminiscing about her early days working at Lenny Electric and Rutledge Music. Music helped fill her days during a long journey with losing her eyesight. Joan's day was always brightened when her friend Greg popped in to visit. Thank you to Hospice Wellington staff for their care and compassion. At Joan's request a private cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy donations to Hospice Wellington or The Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
