Muriel STANKOVITS Obituary

At The Village of Riverside Glen, Guelph, on Sunday, February 28, 2021. Muriel (Forest) Stankovits in her 81st year, was the beloved wife of Joseph Stankovits. She was the loving mother of Dan Stankovits and his partner Donna Moore, Cheryl Shultis and her husband Brian Ivany and Krista Thalassinos and her husband Chris. Muriel was the proud grandmother of Jacob Shultis. Survived by brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where a private Family Funeral Service will be held. Entombment in Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family. So many fond memories of Muriel when I was growing up. Her daughter Krista and I danced together and I’m fortunate to still have her as a friend today.

Muriel and I worked together at the Homewood for many years. We became good friends even after we both retired. I will miss our long walks and wonderful friendship. Such a wonderful, caring person. I will never forget you and you will always be in my heart. Much love to the Stankovits family.
